I just got sent this wonderful picture from Cath and Hapi at Field to Feast. These lettuce and Kale will soon be ready for the boxes. Hapi planted them in alternate rows to make the most efficient use of space. The lettuce, which is faster growing, gets picked first, allowing the kale to keep growing and fill the space left behind by the lettuce. The little boy is Hapi’s grandson, learning the skills to be one of our future farmers!
